NOC
Plain-Language Definition
No Objection Certificate. A formal document from an authority stating it has no objection to a proposed activity, often required as part of building approval processes.
Technical Context
In Bangladesh, NOCs may be required from FSCD (fire safety), Civil Aviation Authority (height clearance near airports), and environmental authorities.
Why It Matters
Missing NOCs can prevent building permit issuance or occupancy certificate approval.
